Googie Sign

la palmachicken pieanaheimfoodcomfortvintage

  • Googie Sign
  • Southern California Comfort Food
  • Possibly the oldest payphone currently extant.
  • The Key - the pie. I preferred all-dark.
  • Gooder with gravy
  • Everything was old.
  • Slow period
  • Loved the vinyl booths.
  • Counter seating, gravy -colored
  • The bakery was significant.
  • Decor celebrated those who gave their all for the cause.
  • Wall Sign
  • THE Chicken Pie Shop
  • Say goodbye to the Googie Sign. Some of it is now in the Glendale Museum of Neon Art. Due to its size (20 feet by 15 feet), only the chicken and the "La Palma" were saved.
