  • A beautiful restoration. It doesn't look 74 years old.
  • There will be twice-yearly changes in the display.
  • The dedication cermony agenda
  • Under all those chairs is a replica of the Medal of Honor star. I went back on opening day 3 months later and got the photo. See it farther along.
  • Despite all of the competing Veterans Day events, there was a sell-out crowd.
  • The view from the podium
  • We had the privilege of watching the first raising of the flag of each military branch.
  • In addition to the constantly changing displays in the barracks, there is a very comprehensive display of memorials outside. It takes a while to walk it.
  • The Medal of Honor Star
  • Memorial to all of the Orange County servicemen who died in Vietnam.
  • Memorial to all O.C. service members who served during the Korean War, including the 51 who died.
