L.A., Gateway to Hollywood

At a traffic island at Hollywood Blvd. and La Brea Ave. stands this 30-foot gazebo. Its latticed dome, capped by a tall spire, is held up by 4 life-size sculptures. Officially the "Hollywood La Brea Gateway", the monument, erected in 1994, is a landmark welcoming you at the west edge of Hollywood. It is commonly referred to as the "Four Ladies Gazebo".
