  • I was looking forward to seeing some veteran memorabilia.
  • The "Veterans Memorial Pier" has two flags at the entry and, hanging forlornly over the water behind the retail store at the ocean end, there are two more - ragged, dirty and forgotten. There is nothing related to veterans on this pier.
