  • 1936 Works Progress Administration mosaic mural, entitled "Recreations of Long Beach," by Wright Stanton McDonald. <br />
The mural was originally part of the Municipal Auditorium facade, and at the time was the largest cut tile mural in the United States. When the auditorium was razed, the city salvaged the mural and put it here on 3rd Street as a decorative feature of the new Long Beach Plaza Mall.
  • Not really intentional, but this wall behind the L.B. Museum of Art appeals to my artistic senses.
