Phantasma Gloria

Echo Park's “Phantasma Gloria” at 1646 Lemoyne Street is also known as the “Glass Virgin of Guadalupe”. Created by artist Randlett(“Randy”) Lawrence in front of his house, aka “Randyland”, it consists of bottles of water, some of colored glass and some with colored water so they can change with the light. They are attached to rebar in such a way that they reflect the sun best in the morning. The main attraction is the Virgin of Guadalupe. Currently, the bottles are only in front of the house, but Randy’s stated intention is to surround the house. Not to be confused with the Randyland in Pittsburgh, PA.
